The Fifth General Assembly of The Bethlehem Development Foundation

The General Assembly held its fifth meeting on Tuesday 3 March 2020 at the Hasib Al Sabbagh And Said Khoury Convention Palace – Bethlehem.

During the meeting, the General Assemble renewed the turn of the previous Board of Directors provided that officers are elected by the Directors in them next Board meeting.

However, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the board of Directors meeting was not possible until it was held at the Foundation’s headquarters on Monday, May 18, 2020.

The session was chaired by the eldest member, Dr. Victor Batarseh who opened the floor for candidacy for the positions officer positions.

Mr. Hani Abu Dayyeh was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mrs. Hind Khoury as Vice chair, Dr. Fadi Qattan as Treasurer, and Dr. Kifah Manasra as Secretary and members of both Mr. Nafez Hussein, Dr. Mohammad Rizk, Dr. Nael Abdel-Rahman, Dr. Victor Batarseh, Mrs. Rana Khoury and Dr. Saleh Jallad, maintaining their membership.

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees Mr. Samer Khoury congratulated the new Board of Directors on its vote of confidence and wished them success in their team.

عقدت الجمعية العمومية اجتماعها الخامس يوم الثلاثاء 3 آذار 2020 مجلس إدارة في قصر المؤتمرات حسيب الصباغ وسعيد خوري – بيت لحم.

وتخلل الاجتماع تجديد انتخاب مجلس الادارة السابق على أن توزع المناصب في أول اجتماع لمجلس الادارة القادم ولكن بسبب جائحة الكورونا تعذر اجتماع مجلس الادارة الى أن عقد في مقر المؤسسة  يوم الاثنين 18 أيار 2020 .

 ترأس الجلسة أكبر الإعضاء سناً الدكتور فكتور بطارسة وفتح  باب الترشيح للمناصب الشاغرة حيث تم انتخاب السيد هاني أبو دية رئيسا لمجلس الإدارة، والسيدة هند خوري نائبا للرئيس، والدكتور فادي قطان أمينا للصندوق، والدكتورة كفاح مناصرة أمينا للسر، وعضوية كل من السيد نافذ الحسيني، والدكتور محمد رزق، والدكتور نائل عبد الرحمان، والدكتور فكتور البطارسة، والسيدة رنا خوري، والدكتور صالح الجلاد، وتابع بعدها المجلس الجديد اجتماعه الاول في تاريخه.

وقد هنأ رئيس مجلس الأمناء مجلس الإدارة الجديد متمنيا التوفيق في مهامه.
