Meeting with Mayor of Bethlehem Municipality

Mayor of Bethlehem, Lawyer Anton Salman, received the Director of the Bethlehem Development Foundation, Dr. Kholoud Daibes and the executive team at Bethlehem Municipal House, yesterday.

At first, Salman welcomed Dr. Daibes and expressed his happiness for her return to homeland after she served as the Palestinian ambassador to Germany for the last 8 years, and congratulated her on her new position as executive director of the Bethlehem Development Foundation.

Mr. Salman briefed BDF about the projects the municipality implemented within the framework of its strategic plan and the remaining projects to be implement, expressing the need to search for new means of transportation to solve the traffic congestion that Bethlehem is facing, according to the sustainable mobility plan the municipality prepared.

For her site, Dr. Khouloud thanked the mayor, expressing the importance of strengthening the relations between the foundation and the municipality, highlighting that the foundation’s only goal is to respond to the city’s needs within the municipality’s vision for the development of Bethlehem.
