Efficient Street Lighting Project

As part of the Solar-powered Street lighting project for Bethlehem Governorate, BDF delivered lighting units to the municipalities of Bethlehem, Beit Jala and Beit Sahour to be installed in vital streets in the old towns of Bethlehem and Beit Jala, and main streets in the tourist area of Beit Sahour.

The project is the funded by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development and managed by BDF. It is expected to be completed in one month, and will include the lighting of 2,5 km with 170 units.

It is worth mentioning that this is the first phase of a Solar Street Lighting program that BDF is looking to implement and will cover 27 km in Bethlehem Governorate.
