Bethlehem Development Foundation General Assembly Meeting

Bethlehem Development Foundation held its seventh general assembly on the 6th of May 2022.

The meeting was led by Mr. Samer Khoury, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and moderated by Mr. Hani Abu Dayyeh, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Dr. Kholoud Daibes, the Executive Director of the Bethlehem Development Foundation (BDF).

Confirming the quorum, as part of his speech, Mr. Khoury concentrated on contact with relevant donors, especially in the Arab world, to secure the needed funding for future projects.

Consecutively, Mr. Abu Dayyeh stressed that BDF’s vision is to view Bethlehem as the window of Palestine to the world, which requires joint efforts to achieve this vision.

Dr. Daibes subsequently presented the administrative report, which included the latest activities of BDF, including communication with partners, future directions, and ongoing projects.

Additionally, attendees discussed the financial audit report for the past year 2021. The financial report was presented by Dr. Fadi Kattan, Treasurer on the BDF’s Board of Directors.

Finally, the meeting resulted in renewing the current Board of Directors and approving the admission of new members into the board.
